I bought Halo 3 for my Xbox 360 a while ago and with the game I received a voucher for a free R/C Battletank. So I went to pick the sucker up yesterday and tested it out. It runs on 8 AA-batteries and shoots 6mm BB-gun pellets. It kicks ass so much you wouldn’t believe it.

As you may have noticed, little pink hearts have been popping up on the site recently. These little icons are posts that are ‘noteworthy’ — in other words, special in some way. Usually there things that I find especially cool or interesting, so you might want to check ‘em out. ‘Noteworthy’ is a plugin for Wordpress that has been sewn on to this K2 theme by it’s kind-hearted development crew. Adds a little extra to the posts.
I gave praise to Google Calendar some time ago for being the best way to keep a calendar up to date (for me at least). It seems a few of my friends use it too and have discovered its awesomeness. This brings me on to another dilemma — sort of.
A friend of mine asked me how to get Google Calendar to sync with his Mac’s iCal and with his Nokia. I don’t really use my N70’s calendar since for the most part it’s pretty crap. After a bit of surfing on ‘the tubes’, I found a fantastic app called “Spanning Sync“. It allows you to sync your Google Calendar with iCal. Previously you’d need to first change your Calendar to a ‘public’ one and then subscribe to its feed, synching it with iCal — all in all a rather tedious procedure. I’m in love with Spanning Sync since it’s so damn easy and has a very intuitive System Preferences options panel — fantastic! The only downside if you will, is that the software is Shareware, so after the 15-day trial you’ll need to pay for it.
Unfortunately for our fellow Windows-users this isn’t possible since Spanning Sync requires Mac OS X. And to be frank, I don’t really give a rat’s arse about how it works on a PC :)
