5,4,3,1 Offblast!

So, in around half an hour I’ll be on my way to the airport and then boarding a Finnair airplane. Our route to Singapore goes via Bombay, where we have a four hour layover. Flying back will be a bit of a bitch, since we have a 12 hour layover in Hong Kong — from 10 o’clock in the morning ’til 10 in the evening :)

So I’ll be seeing y’all, I’ve got my Mac with me so I’ll be posting pictures and whatnot. Ciao!

Mass Effect imminent

Mass Effect, a huge science fiction RPG/FPS is coming out in a week’s time, and I’m pretty excited. The game looks incredible, and as the gameplay and storyline change as a result of the player’s choices, it’s probably going to kick as much ass as Halo 3 did — maybe more? The gaming site Sci vs. Fi interviewed some dudes at BioWare about the game. Suggest you check it out if you’re interested.

I heart Firefox

I just do. It’s the best. I switched over from Safari to Camino for some time but didn’t really like it that much. The Safari 3 beta was also pretty damn good but there were some weird fuckups with different sites that were minor but still irritating — for example the Rolling Archives on the front page here on Binary Euphoria. The text kept overlapping and made it hard to use.

So I updated Firefox to 2.0.0.9 and imported by toolbar bookmarks, now everything rocks. Just thought I’d share this with you :) If you haven’t already switched from whatever other browser you’re using, do it the hell now. I’ll guarantee you won’t regret it.

Get Firefox
This rather gorgeous girl compels you to switch over to Firefox :)

Here’s a funny fan-made Firefox ad just to wet your browser-changin’ appetite. The IE-guy cracks me up every time; “Wheee!”
