I listen to a pretty modest amount of rap music, since I don’t really like it — the music is usually pretty shit and the lyrics never, ever make any sense. And the reasons for one needing to posess an absurd quantity of expensive automobiles and drink nothing but over-priced Champagne have not really been conveyed to me through the music.
