Here’s an amazing time lapse of San Francisco, which shows the entire city from a distance, first being engulfed by fog and then as the it slowly dissipates the city comes into view — and for a few moments it really looks like SF is a city in the clouds. I’m an avid fan of the Guitar Hero series and I’m also looking forward to Rock Band so much, I should be foaming at the mouth. But even though I love playing these games, playing actual guitar is one of the best past times ever. Even though I’ve had a guitar for around 10 years now, I’ve very seldom actually had time to play it, resulting in a rather poor repertoire of learned songs. Shame really, since it’s a really cool instrument to play on my opinion.

But now it seems there’s an opportunity for me to include my love of playing video games with playing a real guitar. Guitar Rising, a new game for PC’s and Macs apparently lets you use a real guitar as the game controller. This basically is Guitar Hero 2.0. And it’s so cool! I hope that game comes out super-super quickly and has a library of a zillion good songs. Check out the video below.
