As mentioned
previously, Dragonforce’s Through The Fire And Flames in Guitar Hero III was getting the better of me; failing at an oh-so-close 95%. But as of 15 minutes ago, I have officially completed the afore mentioned song on the Hard difficulty. I think I’ll spend the rest of the evening with my wrist immersed in ice.

While sitting on the couch at home this morning, I decided it might be a laugh to tackle the infamous Dragonforce song Through Fire And Flames, in Guitar Hero III. I’d tried it a couple of times on the Hard difficulty but I’d never gotten past the intro. On Medium, I can play it through — no problem. I’m going to sleep.

The Escapist’s Zero Punctuation game review are the dog’s bollocks. ‘Yahtzee’, the narrator of said videos always seems to have great insight into games that you might’ve missed otherwise. And his newest take on Guitar Hero III lands right on the money. On the whole the third installment is a hoot, and with medium and hard difficulties, ’shredding’ riffs from Welcome To The Jungle does bring about a certain Rockstar-feeling.
